Age and Physical Requirements
The Signature Tram Tour is open to all ages, and many families bring babies along with no issues. The ride does most of the work, so there’s minimal walking and it’s comfortable for just about anyone.
For the adventure experiences:
- Zipline and Challenge Course: Ages 6 and up, weight limit 285 lbs
- Early Explorers Tour: Best for those in good shape; age limits apply
Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on every tour.
Safety Equipment and Dress Code

Every guest gets the right safety gear for their activity. Tram riders wear hairnets and helmets, while adventure participants are given harnesses, gloves, helmets, and pads.
What to wear to Harrison’s cave? Here are my recomendations:
- Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or trainers work best).
- Comfortable, casual clothes.
- Long pants for zipline activities.
- Swimwear optional if you plan to use the pool.
Wheelchair Accessibility
Harrison’s Cave Barbados makes it easy for everyone to explore. The site was built with accessibility in mind, offering ramps, elevator access to the cave level, and wheelchair-adapted trams. The walkways around the park are paved and easy to navigate.
Accessible tours start around USD 259.95 and include transportation with lift-equipped vehicles. Because there are only a few of these vehicles, priority goes to guests using wheelchairs and one companion.
Health and Weather Notes
The cave stays around 27°C (80.6°F) year-round, but outdoor activities can get warm and humid, especially midday. Bring water and sunscreen, and let staff know if you have any medical conditions or mobility concerns – they’re well prepared to help make sure your visit goes smoothly.
